American Flag and Ceramic headstones

This was part of my solo show “Freedom” and represents how America is being killed off one thing at a time.
The flag belonged to my uncle who was in the Army. Think of the Americans who served and fought for our democracy only to have it now violated. Depicted on the headstones is the number “6” representing the January 6th Insurrection; the number “25” representing the despicable Project 2025; question marks and exclamation points representing my feelings.
